Our
Oil / Water / Solids Separators
come in four varieties, in-ground, above-ground, closed loop, and portable
closed-loop. These systems offer our customers a wide variety of applications
and support easily adaptable to any situation. |

In-Ground System:
RAM-UFT Interceptors are engineered to seize and collect sand, grease, grit and
free oil (hydrocarbons and other petroleum products) from spills, storm water
runoff, vehicle clean-up operations and secondary containment applications.
Engineered for gravity flow installations, RAM-UFT Interceptors provide for
separation of free oil and grease and settleable solids with specific gravities
different than water. Manufactured of high-grade lightweight fiberglass, the
RAM Interceptors can be assembled on site and are easy to maneuver and install
in tight areas.
Above-Gound System: RAM SPC
Oil / Water / Solids Separators
utilize heavy grade steel construction and are unparalleled in performance,
structural strength and low maintenance operation. The SPC system design
utilizes high efficiency, up-flow coalescing phase separation capable of
separating free settling solids and free floating oils from wastewater streams.
The designed minimum reduction of free oil and solids is 95% and the normal
expected reduction is 98% to 99%.
Closed-Loop
System: Utilizing a Ram SPC separator as the base unit, this
system is designed to work in a closed-loop arrangement where the wash water
will be continuously reused. The system is skid mounted and pre-plumbed for
ease of installation or can be installed on-site if a different footprint is
required. In many cases the use of a closed-loop system will eliminate the
requirements for permitting and monitoring. In addition to the base SPC unit,
the system includes an interfaced electric control panel, electric centrifugal
pump, a water holding tank, a pressure tank and pump and dual bag-filter
canisters. Final treated water polishing for removal of any
carryover of oil and grease or suspended solids is handled by an optional
carbon media filtration tank.
Portable Closed-Loop:
This unique system, that was originally a special design request
from the Army National Guard in Hawaii, allows the operator to switch from
carbon media processing at 20 gpm in a closed-loop environment to full flow
processing at 100 gpm for sanitary sewer discharge. The standard system is skid
mounted but can be trailer mounted for movement by military or other vehicles.
In addition, the standard system contains four manifold connections for
attachment of pressure washers straight from the system. |
