RamGuard filters are designed to remove water and particulate from all types of oil and fuel streams. Most filters just remove particulate and don't address the serious problems caused by the moisture that builds up in every situation.

RamGuard filters use a super absorbent polymer, which is embedded into the synthetic filter medium. This super polymer will absorb either emulsified or free water several times it's own weight and will not allow the water to be released even in high pressure systems.

Test results have found 99.9% of all moisture removed from the contained oil. Particulate size filtration ranges from 1/2 micron to 30 micron.
